KC Concepcion graced the Independence Day parade in New York City

KC Concepcion graced the advanced celebration of the Philippine Independence Day in New York City. KC, along with other Filipino celebrities like Apl de Ap, James Yap, Ogie Alcasid, and Yassi Pressman, joined the parade which traversed the streets of the Big Apple.

Ever the patriot that she is, KC was so proud of being a Filipina and waved a Philippine stick flag with gusto. She was at her most charming self,  interacting with Filipinos who lined up the streets to watch the parade.

The UN National Ambassador Against Hunger was radiant in a peach top by designer Mark Bumgarner,

She shared a photo of the parade on Instagram and captioned it with,  "The heart of the Filipino. Hi, New York  [ Peach top custom made by @markbumgarner ]"

KC also posted a short video of her and the parade crowd and captioned it with "A good day to be a Filipina! And in New York, no less! Happy seeing u all for the #PhlippineIndependenceDayParade!!!"

A lot of the commenters said that KC looked a lot like Kate Middleton during the parade. Netizens commented on how beautiful she is in person.and a lot of them said they were also pleased with the way KC mingled with her fellow Filipinos in New York. They said she was very down to earth and was kind enough to sign autographs during the event.

Way to go KC! We salute you for showing Filipinos all over the world how they should be proud of their culture and heritage.
