Watch the world's biggest multicolor fountain at Okada Manila for free; schedule of shows

Okada Manila's "The Fountain", dubbed as the world's largest multicolor dancing fountain is now open to the public for FREE.

"The Fountain" was launched last week via a spectacular event featuring American pop artist Robin Thicke, soprano Gerphil Flores, and with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach as host. Guests paid to watch the unveiling of the glorious choreographed fountain.

But since April 1, the dancing fountain has been open for public viewing without any entrance fee.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news, Okada Manila's VP for Entertainment Maxwell Zetlin said "The Fountain" is Kazuo Okada's gift to to the Filipinos. That's why the casino resort and hotel complex owner wants Filipinos to see The Fountain for free.

The Fountain was built at a cost of $30 million and sits on a 9.2 acre man-made lake. It features 739 water nozzles, 2611 colored lights and 23 speakers. Its water jets can shoot water beyond the 15-story Okada Manila hotel.

Okada Manila is proud to say that their fountain rivals the Dubai Fountain of Burj Khalifa and The Fountains of Bellagio of Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

If you're interested to watch the spectacular water shows of Okada Manila's "The Fountain", here's the schedule:

Friday to Saturday, every half hour from 6:00 PM to 12:30
Sunday to Thursday, every half hour from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

From Friday to Sunday at 8:00 PM, Okada Manila's World of Wonders performances will be at the Floating Stage of The Fountain. The show is a visual treat that adds more color to the already breathtaking choreography of the dancing fountain.

Viewers are allowed to take selfies, videos or photos using personal devices BUT drones and professional video cameras are not allowed.

Whether you are with friends or family when you watch the show, we are sure you will get hungry at one point. Okada Manila got that covered with food concessionaires and bars around the multicolor fountain. Don't worry, you can have a choice between fast food chains and fine dining restaurants, depending on your budget.
